PSL Official Sponsor:
This Tournament officially labeled as HBL PSL.
Habib Bank Limited is the title sponsor of PSL. The PCB renewed its deal with the HBL ahead of the PSL 4 and the new deal was worth thrice more than their original agreement signed before the 2016 season.
Before signing this contract, the PCB acted smartly and got PSL’s brand worth evaluated by a popular firm. The positive results were bound to come afterwards as the board received almost $14.3 million in this newly signed sponsorship deal. It really was a huge spike from $5.2 million deal signed before the tournament’s inauguration.
The new PCB Chairman, Mr. Ehsan Mani, seemed delighted with this contract renewal saying it shows HBL’s resolve and commitment with the Pakistan Super League and the Pakistan cricket. Muhammad Aurangzeb, the CEO and President of HBL, also shared that same feeling.
The new deal was signed for the next three years and it means after having a successful HBL PSL 2019, we’re all set to move forward to HBL PSL 2020 and there will be yet another season, at least, which will see HBL’s association and commitment to the league itself. More new and raw talent will come forward and a lot of exciting opportunities will be created with this HBL-PSL association.
The Final Word:
It’s a fact that the Pakistan Super League has managed to develop an ardent following among the cricket fans, and everybody is eager to stay abreast of any latest developments and the PSL news. PSL will also bring some flavor to the local markets with its merchandise and other stuff in the team colors.
